What do you actually earn per order?
Enter your numbers and see where the money goes — commission, shipping, TCS, GST and your real take-home.
See this for every order you actually sold
GSTWali reads your real marketplace report and shows gross sales, returns, fees and TCS for the whole month — then generates your GSTR-1 JSON from the same file.

- Taxable value = selling price ÷ (1 + GST rate). Your listed price includes GST, so we strip it out first.
- Commission is charged on the selling price, and the marketplace adds 18% GST on that fee.
- TCS (1%) is collected on your taxable value and deposited against your GSTIN — it reduces the payout but you can claim it back in your cash ledger.
- GST payable is the tax you collected from the customer and must remit to the government. It was never your money.
- Return rate spreads the cost of returned orders (shipping both ways, no revenue) across your successful orders.
The number most sellers get wrong
Many sellers treat the selling price as revenue and the product cost as the only expense. In reality the GST you collected belongs to the government, commission attracts its own GST, and returns quietly eat the margin on your successful orders. That gap is usually the difference between "I'm profitable" and "why is my bank balance not growing".
A note on accuracy
Default commission rates here are typical ranges, not your contract. Real rates vary by category, price band and seller tier, and marketplaces change them. Use your own settlement report for exact figures — GSTWali can read that file and show the real numbers rather than estimates.
